A two day basic course with add-on modules as required. This course is held at the HGL UK Lincoln offices at regular intervals or can be provided at your site for groups of 6 people or more.
The standard course provides modules on the following subjects:
- Basic theory of vibration measurement
- Measurement conversions and power factors
- Selection of transducers
- Selection of data capture bandwidth
- Data presentation and display
- FFT techniques
The course can then be tailored by adding modules from:
- Gearbox vibration and fault indications
- Rolling element bearing vibration and fault indications
- Squeeze film bearing vibration and fault indications
- Gear coupling vibration and fault indications
- Diaphragm coupling vibration and fault indications
