HGL’s team of designers have years of experience designing high-end electronic enclosures. In addition, members of the team have worked within the power generation and motor sport fields. This wealth of experience allows HGL Dynamics to undertake a wide range of mechanical design tasks; using Solidworks software we can quickly turn your vision into reality.

Using our coordinate measuring machine (CMM) system linked to our CAD system, HGL Dynamics can rapidly produce a solid model of unavailable components. Where required, we can then advise where improvements can be made or manufacturing can be simplified. Our CAM software allows us to generate the tool paths quickly and transfer the information to our high speed milling machine. Our integrated processes allow us to respond very quickly to your requirements.

HGL Dynamics’ investment in state of the art machines, tooling and software allows us to offer an unsurpassed ability to produce your prototype parts and low volume production runs in a timely and cost effective manner. Our M8 Cube is manufactured by Datron in Germany, and is a state-of-the-art, high-speed milling machine (40,000-60,000 RPM), ideal for efficiently machining our equipment chassis / cases, front / rear panels, and flight case foam inserts. It is also particularly suited to the production of precision components for the following market sectors:

  • High end electronic enclosures and machined components
  • Motorsport components, reverse engineered or designed & manufactured in high strength aluminium alloys
  • One-off production runs of components for classic, vintage or customised cars and motorcycles

Our CMM measurement facility enables us to ensure that all components produced meet the drawing limits.
We work closely with a local metal finishing business to provide a quick turn-around when plating and anodising is required.


Milling Machine
